Nunca me había parado a pensar en que las mariposas durmieran (buen título para un libro).
Buenos efectos, parece estar relajada, como si colgara de las minúsculas florecillas.

Hola Jose,
a nice butterfly picture. Great focus and sharpness. It is possible to count the black scales on the hindwing - but I gave up after ... 3266 .. 3267 :-)

Nice and funny a bit composition of the shot. You managed to pictured an amazing flower with beautiful butterfly on it. Their reproduction is perfect: sharpness, details, soft lighting and colours are very nice. I also like a very impressive and pictorial BG. DOF is selected excellently too. My compliments and TFS. "Sleeping Beauty" -- that's how I would modify your caption, Jose :-).
Very fine capture of this Pieris with distinct colouring and markings on its wings.
Makes a lovely composition with those flowers it is clinging to.

Hay la misma mariposa en mi trabajo, la veo cada dia pero no puedo hacer ningun fotos porque tengo que trabajar... Me gusta tu foto, por los detalles, las colores naturales, lea composicion, el fondo, la posicion de la mariposa, and for me it looks strange to have rain in Spain when there is sun and warm weather in France - sorry, I didn't know how to say this in Spanish ! :-)

I wonder if they close their eyes when they are sleeping... Don't tell me that a butterfly can freeze in Spain, I don't believe you :-)!

This is a very nice specie that (as usual) you captured with great skills. Details, exposure, composition and DOF are superb! I can almost feel the texture of its wings. This flower is so beautiful too! Well done with natural colors :)

The details and textures on this butterfly are outstanding and nicely visible and contrast well with the blurred BG.
All the colors are also wonderful and well saturated, thanks to a proper exopsure management.
The flower that the butterfly is hanging on is also a beauty and is well presented here.

Nice idea for the picture - to take photo of "sleeping" butterfly. It is always good time to take picture of insects when the temperature is low ;>
Details, DOF, and POV are nice and good, but - probably because of "lack of sun" this photo is a little to dark for me. On the other hand tanks to this picture has a special "sleeping" character ;>

Muy linda foto, has aprovechado muy bien el tiempo fresco, yo lo hacia tambien en invierno, los insectos no andan con su habitual velocidad, en especial para fotografiar rápidas hormigas.
Excelente camuflaje, parece una hoja pendiendo.

Hay un libro en España que se llama "Mariposas en libertad" y es excelente, para saber un poco la vida de las mariposas.Las mariposas necesitan el calor para volar.El mejor momento para fotografiar las mariposas es por la mañanas.Bonita toma.Un saludo.

El blanco se convierte en amarillo iridiscente bajo estas condiciones de luz y se descubre perfectamente el dibujo moteado. Es una foto distinta, original y muy bonita de ver.
