Glancing at the thumbnail quickly I wondered what strange flower this was!! Good timing to get the Common Blue right in the middle of this Iris. The flower makes a lovely soft blue frame around the butterfly. Good sharpness and lovely colours.

Veo que tb teneis Lysandras por el sur, debe de ser una especie muy común). Has creado una buena y atípica composición con una p. de campo excelente con solo f 4.5. Esa fuji es una caña !! ( y el que la usa jeje )

Hello José,
Superb capture radiating beauty, freshness and vigour. This sharp shot shows a newly emerged female Common Blue engrossed in the iris flower to produce a beautiful and unusual post. The neutral BG sets it of very nicely.
This shot is good therapy for tired eyes!

What a great and even funny capture! It seems that the little butterfly is slowly pushing the petals of this huge flower (in comparison to him) so that he can reach in there, where the nectar is :))
I really like this POV and timing here, as well as the splendid colors and very good DOF choice.
The exposure is also spot-on and the composition created by all the angles of the petals is terrific!
