The tajinaste rojo is remarkable its spectacular of red flower. This plant became very rare 30 years ago when it was commonly eaten by livestock. However since banning of livestock grazing in the National Park, the species has once again become very common.

Hi Vicma

A very beautiful photo here from you!
I guess this could go easily both as a plant shot and a splendid landscaep.
The wide-angle view here is great and also gave you an amazing perspective.
Charming colors, exceptional exposure and gorgeous details throughout the entire scene.

Bravo and TFS

Quite an impressive plant that goes well with the rugged terrain shown in the image, Vicma.
I wonder if it is some kind of cactus.
Good combo of landscape and plant study here.

Hi Victor,
a fascinating plant in full blossom, precise details, subtly reported rusty colours all over the image, exciting depth, dramatic shadows of clouds and the background make an emotionally very appealing capture. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter

Buenas Victor

Very interesting construction of the picture with these amazing desert plants in the front. They have incredible colours. I appreciate a lot the chosen point of view and the sight on the hills in the back. The clouids give a touch of mystery to the landscape.

Hi Vicma,

A beautiful picture!! The earthtone colors are wonderful. It is nice to see this unusual looking plant. The whole scene is lovely - I love the clouds.

Jane

Nice wide angle shot with good DOF.
I like the clouds partially covering the mountains.
TFS

Hello Victor,
Wow! This is a plant we don't see often around my place, hehehe!
Interesting note about this being attractive food for the cattle...
Image is well composed and shows the somewhat hostile landscape that is the habitat of the plant well!

Hala!

Hi Vicma,

I've missed a lot of your photos while out of town. This one caught my eye as I always like landscape shots. I like the way you included interesting elements in the fore, mid and back grounds. Sharpness and depth of focus is really good. The color looks very natural to me. It is a really strong composition. I like the way the foreground elements connect with the midground and point to the background. Nice work.

Hi Vicma
It must be a tremendous site to see this unique looking plant growing in the wild. You've captured the ruggedness of the area. It looks like the plant grows in some very harsh conditions. I love the composition with the rocks, plants and low cloud in the background. Nicely done.
