[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I really like these long lasting days of June in the south of Spain, when you can shot at 21 h or even at 22 h. I can carry my camera to work and going to the field at the end of the day. This was the case of the meeting with this partridge, the red partridge native of Southwestern Europe. A common game trophy, but really a colourfull and beautiful species. The sun was low and painted with warm hues the plants and the bird. It was safely hidden among shrubs and weeds, but at times it raised the head looking for me... Are you still there? Why not better going home and watch TV as other humans?

Pero bueno Carlos mendruga perdiz nos muestras en pleno "medio ambiente", muy chula. Pero pon "tamien" algo en españó, que yo el inglés lo domino si es pequeño y bajito.... chiste malo de los del "Gorgue"....
A ver si hablamos un ratejo o dos.....

Hola Carlos,
Fine capture of a Red-legged Partridge in the evening light. Great pose, sharpness and colour.
I might have cropped away the yello w on the left, which would be better even though it causes a square picture. Even so, its a nice shot.

Very nice perspective Carlos. I like the fact that the bird is only partially visible and right centered. The overall colors and lighting is also very well rendered.

Great light, wonderfull catchlight and perfect sharpness makes it a real great picture
