A good macro of this flower! Lovely and sharp and showing up beautifully against the blurred b/g.

It is amazing how these flowers continue to bloom in such high temperatures and without rain! (We've had the rain .. just not the high temperatures!)

Hi Jose

Great to see you got the wanted help with the ID on the very first critique. The TREKNature system worked once again. This semi-parasitic and hairy White bartsia belongs to the snapdragon family.

Considering the extreme climatic conditions you mentioned it is a wonder of nature how plants like this can still flourish and produced such lovely flowers. You have done an excellent job to capture the specimen in this close-up shot. The details are fabulous and one can even get a good view of the fine hairy surface of shield leaves on the inflorescence. The colour rendition is great, the well isolated BG enhances the flowers, and the exposure levels provided excellent lighting on the subject.

Excelente imagen de esta singular floración!
Me llama mucho la atención la forma de esta planta, asi como una torre, de la cual se van asomando tan delicadamente las flores de suaves colores.
Que detalle ver en la misma planta los diferentes estados de las flores, desde recién abiertas hasta ya en el ocaso.
Me gusta mucho la profundidad de campo y el fondo difuminado que obtuviste.

Bonjour Jose,
Elle est bien particulière cette petite fleur aux couleurs subtiles. Tu la présentes avec un arrière-plan qui reprend les couleurs de la plante, cela donne une grande harmonie à l'image.
J'espère que vous avez reçu un peu de pluie. Ici il pleut comme si nous étions dans des régions tropicales!

Esta flor es muy bella, me gusta su forma y sus colores delicados. Nunca le visto antes. La composicion y el POV son excelentos, los detallesson perfectos y el fondo borroso pone en valor la flor. En Francia no hay sol, hay lluvia y nubes todo el timep, y nunca mas de 25° - no se donde esta el verano ! :-) Gracias por compartir esta herosa foto !
