Great details, color, Bg, DOF, POV, and exposure Marta.
The head-down composition works well. Perhaps a bit more space in front of the head, less behind IMHO.

I'm jealous...I photographed the same bug in Texas a few days ago and it is nowhere near as fine as yours...It has the exact same markings but on mine the head and legs are blurred...Very well captured with outstanding composition of the colorful bug against a neutral BG...Very well done...

I love the monochromatic palette of colors in this shot Marta. The wonderful subtle shapes in the background are perfect and kind of repeat the patterns of the seed pods and insect. You have a good eye for this type of shot. Very nice!

Hi Marta,
Wonderful shot of this bug in a fabulous pose. Very sharp image and exquisite colour tones all round. Superb lighting and the seed pods persents a fine effect. The neautral BG highlights the subjects and enhances the beauty too. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hi Marta, interesting pose on this one. I like the colour and detail you've picked up on this stink bug. I thought with this and the easily recognizable patterning on his back he'd be easy to identify. Not so. In any case nice capture on your part, nice separation between him and the background with great bokeh.
