Hi Vicma,

the panoramic format and crop works well here, the image is well balanced and the line of trees along the top of this ridge creates an interesting outline. Great natural earthy tones throughout too, well done.

Hi Vicma,
What a great loss for nature to see all these trees and bushes burned.
Hopefully nature will restore and after a few years it will be nice and green again overthere.
Excellent panoramic composition with wonderful lines.
Although this is'nt really a beautiful, but more sad, nature scene to look at, it's good to know what happens if fire is in the hands of people who don't know how to handle.

Sad story but amazing picture of this unfortunately not seldom phenomenon. Even in such conditions this place is wonderful. Composition, colour, sharpness and details of the image are great. Lighting is so impressive too. Skillfully done shot. My compliments and TFS.

A very good shot of this vista.It looks like a skeleton.The details and focus are excellent.Well exposed with well saturated colours.The panoramic is well composed.I hope the area can recover from this devastation.But sometimes fires are needed to rejuvenate an area.TFS

de algunos el mensaje es cuida el planeta que es el unico que tenemos, estoy mirando en estos momentos la noticia que aqui en Florida, cercano a mi casa, se han incendiado los everglades, todabia no se sabe la magnitud de los daños,

Buen documento. Soy de los que sufren cuando hay incendios y por desgracía esos son muy comunes también en nuestra Península. Es incrible y parece que sea un juego para algunos ya que casi todos son intencionados.

Es una pena que algunos desaprensivos, no sean conscientes del enorme daño que hacen, supongo que por el clima que disfrutáis, tardará tiempo en regenerar. Aquí este año casi no hubo incendios por el verano tan húmedo que tenemos. Un cordial saludo desde Galicia.

Hi Vicma. Fire can do a lot of harm , but nature will heal in time. we have many fires in the heath lands but next year up it grows.
You have captured a fine picture ,with a nice compostion showing the line of trees on the hill top. well done TFS.

This is a beautiful and sad post at the same time Vicma but I say to myself that fires could be a great source of new life and opportunity for new species. This is a well composed picture and something that we fortunately don't see too often :) Cheers,

A very poignant scene with such clear details and nice colour tones. The sky looks beautiful and the lifeless trees present a nice visual effect. I wonder how green this place would have looked before the fire. Excellent POV to capture this atmosphere and very nicely composed. Kudos.

It's sad to see the remainings of a burned paradise. Tenerife is a great vacation destination and hopefully nature will grow back what was destroyed in the fire. Your image is well composed and balanced and shows perfectly the aftermath of the fire. Thanks for sharing!

Un buen documento que refleja el sufrimiento de la naturaleza que a veces padece a causa de "algunos" humanos...Tremendo y una verguenza...

Pero puerta abierta a la esperanza... La naturaleza es sabia y se defiende y en unos años los bosques pueden renacer incluso con fuerzas renovadas, como ha passado en mi comarca, con mucha mas forestal y siempre fuertemente castigada por el fuego...
O sea, mensaje positivo y de esperanza!

Por lo que he oido mas de una vez, el pino canario tiene una especial resistencia al fuego y que puede brotar tras haberse quemado. Espero que esta característica contribuya a una pronta recuperacion de los bosques en Tenerife.

Bonjour Vicma,
C'est une image bien triste, comme celle que nous connaissons aussi souvent dans le sud de la France et dans tout le bassin méditerranéen. Les végétaux se réinstalleront rapidement, mais la faune a surement subi de graves pertes.
Cette photo est précieuse : elle témoignera de la reconquête des milieux après le passage du feu.

The LP is a great way to show some idea of the damaged caused. It is a sad shot but I hope the area will recover. I think we need shots like this to show the other side to nature not just the sweet and fluffy side
