Buena captura Victor: luz correcta. Supongo que con ese color tiene su dificultad y más con flash que parece estar hecha. La parte superior de la cabeza algo justilla de enfoque jeje pero el conjunto precioso. Destaco el color de varios tonos de castaño de su cuerpo y esa base clara. Elegante presentación. Preciosa.

The latin name says it all as this beetle which I never saw before indeed has the same look as a rhino,the picture has good POV and colors,detail,a small nit that the horn is oof,but anyway thanks for the introduction of this for me new scarab,

Superb capture of a Rhinoceros Beetle taken from a fine POV and with excellent sharpness, detail and colour. The flash was skillfully used to highlight the contours without too much reflection.

This is really nice creature and very good quality photo. It is not easy to present in the good way a shiny, convex beetle like this Oryctes. And for me it is nice to see that DOF and profile POV are very good. Bravo also for showing something new, even if the species is rather well known, it is still rarely presented on TN. And moreover, I really believe that not to many TN members know that there is nore than 1 subspecies of this amazing scarab beetle :)

De vuelta por aquí y ya veo que tienes un montón de fotos nuevas y maravillosas.
Este agosto estuve unos días por tu tierra y me encantó. Aunque no pude visitar Masca por culpa del incendio. ¡Cómo odio los incendios! Pero conocí un montón de cosas nuevas y me acordé mucho de tí y de tus fotos (quería hacer fotos como las tuyas, pero me temo que no lo conseguí, buaaa). Espero poder volver algún día con más tiempo.
Este bichejo es realmente curioso. Siempre he tenido curiosidad por ver alguno vivito y coleando. Los detalles son extraordinarios.

One month later (end of October) I will be in Malaga for IUCN meeting I will try to visit these famous islands.
