Superb detail and clarity as usual Vicma, very impressive inded. I like this POV from the side, we can see how he's gripping the branch very tightly with his rear legs. Lovely texture in the bark too.

Hola Victor, como siempre ha valido la pena la espera. Ese díptero fabuloso. Gran profundidad que permite ver con detalle todas las partes del cuerpo. Bien captado y bonito efecto en el ojo, que parece una rubí engarzado. La luz es sorprendente ya que el insecto se ve clarísimo y en el resto creas una atmósfera ( estilo Vicma ) preciosa. Enhorabuena !! estas rompiendo en votos por lo que veo.

This asilid photo is simply fantastic! One of the best picture of robber flies I have ever seen. Sharped, detailed, perfectly presented. And these beauty warm colours... :>
I can see only one small mistake in the note - it should be Diptera not Dipteral :)

Que tal Monstruo de la cámara, ahora veo que te dedicas a los supermacrosssssss.
Una captura muy buena señorito, con una gran profundidad de campo y detalle y eso es un logro en esta disciplina, buenos colores y fondo, quizás el corte de la rama puede ser un punto negativo (si somos muy puristas), pero es donde se poso la mosca, a partir de ahora les dices a los posibles futuros insectos modelos que se posen donde tu digas..... :o)
