[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot of my first attempts with the Canon macro lens. Taken at Empuriabrava butterfly garden. I love the colours of this Zebra Longwing (Heliconius Charitonius). To see them in the wild you should travel to South America.

I decided to keep the blurred leaf in the background in the shot and not crop part of it away.

PP: levels, some cropping, and a little USM.

Another good one Jan, the colours are good and I liek the composition. The focus seems to be on the tail end of the butterfly rather than the head where I think it would be better. Good work.

Otra hermosa imagen Jan.
Excelente nitidez y foco, excepto en el área del ala izquierda, aunque no desmerece la imagen.
Bellos tonos y muy buen perspectiva y encuadre.

Another beautiful image Jan.
Excellent clearness and focus, except in the area of the left wing, although are not be unworthy the image.
Beautiful tones and very good perspective and frame.

Jan, a very nice specimen. i have not seen them before. Very nice colours. That flowers below splashes some colour to the b&W and contrasts nicely. Great work.

Wow great shot, glad that the butterfly is not dead centre and this creates a more interesting shot. The detail is fantastic although I would have liked the left wing to be in focus but does not detract from a great shot.

je ne connais pas cette espece , donc j'adope pour cette photo ...les couleurs sont jolies ...le détail est bien rendu...on dirait qu'il a une aile plus grande que l'autre vu le cadrage de la photo...tres belle compo...amicalement BI
