Hi Sira, this is a great looking crab with great colour and decent focus. Composition wise, I think he would have been seen better in the top of the frame without that rock (or whatever that obstruction is) in the way. If possible, a lower view point would have been better for this shot as well. I am sure you know all this, sometimes you just can not always get the shot you would like to get.

Thanks, John

Hi Sira.
What a nice specimen. I saw almost similar only in childhood. Amazing details and colours. I like reproduction of the animal an BG too. My compliments and best wishes.

Hello Sira,
A pleasant close-up with fine details!
I like the composition as the blurry foreground adds depth to the image...
Good light and fine colours!
Greetings,
Pablo -

good sharp shot of the crab..colours are well saturated and the rocks sharp as well
the front rock can be changed to take away the out of focus

Hola Sira,
I have been to the Canary Islands several times but have never seen a crab like this before.
Though a little soft you show the colours and pose well in a fine composition against the rock.
Very nice to see!
thanks you,
Saludos,
Ivan

Hi Sira

I must admit, I don't know much about crabs, but beauty needs no knowledge - just appreciation.

This is a very interesting and colourful specimen. Maybe a wee bit soft in details, but still very attractive never the less. A slightly difficult shot to make much of a composition seeing that it is only the crab and the rocks, but I think you managed quite well. The harsh sunlight also must have made it rather tricky, but once again I think you skilfully managed to contain the shadows and reduce the negative effects. Perhaps it would have benefitted the overall result if you could have avoided the OOF rock in the foreground though.

Well done and TFS.
Best regards
Loot
