This Steglits is amazing with great colours and a fine pose. I just love the green colour in the BG.... not possible here this time of year.

Welcome back to winter!
Very nice sunny shot of a Goldfinch from a great POV with fine eye contact. I like the way he is frames by the thistle flowers and seed heads against an excellent green bokeh.

Hope you had a lovely sunny time in Spain! This certainly looks lovely and bright! Excellent capture of the Goldfinch in a classic pose collecting seeds. Lovely colours, sharp details and a fine composition. (I remember the Spaniards calling this bird "el Pajaro pinto" = the painted bird!)
