Taken in Sierra Nevada. I don't know the ID of this antlion.

That day was windy, so I chose the highest shutter speed (the grass was moving due to wind). Well, actually, I almost always choose a high speed shutter... :-P

I used a flash Sigma 500 Super DG with homemade diffuser...

Post-processing: levels and unsharp mask after resizing.

I tried to crop slightly to straigh and placing the insect left, but finally I preferred the original
