[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,
Yesterday as I was looking at the posts of Stephen (signal-womb) or Miles Davis and other good photographers, I was thinking that I was really not a landscape photographer.
But then as I was to meet some friends at the "beach" and I took my whole
camera stuff with me I started to take some picture.
I tried to make some long exposures of the waves but it was a complete mess. I guess it was to bright.
So instead I did the oposite and with the "grand angular" lens made very short exposures. Luckily the sky was interesting enough and it made the whole scene different.
The dark shades at the horizon is Tenerife.
I made the rock parts clearer in photoshop.

I'd like to know your opinion about this one. Is it interesting enough?

Zou denk ik nog een stukje lucht er afhalen tot 1/3 van de foto.
Compositie en kleuren zijn goed.Jammer dat de witte wolken iets overbelicht zijn.

Quite nice. Great depth and the contrast between the sky and rock are very nice.

Nice wide angle landscape. The reflection in the water really makes this photo. The linear clouds are perfect for this shot.

Hi Karin,

You did a great job! This is a lovely landscape shot, the two elements that really make the image work are the huge boulder (and its reflection) and the vivid blue sky (and its cloud patterns. A really nice composition.

A wonderful sky, and it reflects so nicely from the puddle in front!
The composition is simple but it tells the story of the rugged beach in ebb tide...
A fine feeling of depth and attractive colours!

Hi Karin,
i think you've done a great job here, composition wise. I don't know what settings you used, but it looks clear and sharp throughout. You do have some slight pixelation around the horizon of the rocks from you PP work, but the sky has some nice shaped clouds anf the texture of the rocks is intersting and you have some nice bright light too...it reminds me of the area where i live!
