How interesting to see this little Tenerife Goldcrest with a broad black band on the head! This is a beautiful composition and you've caught it in a lovely pose showing details very clearly and the colours are beautiful. Its feet seem very bright orange too! Well done!!

It resembles a silent active child of conifer forests, i hope the sub(species) can survive along with the pine forests. Hope is the meal of the poor they say here. Nonetheless, the spreading of the protection efforts may help.

I think this is the first time I have seen this cute bird. A wonderful capture with beautiful colors and razor sharp details. The face, wings and plummage are superb. I love the colors on top of his head. A wonderful pose and a lovely setting.
