| This is a rock rose as it grows in the Canary Islands which is one of the places where it originated together with North Africa and Asia Minor. It prefers sunny exposed places and dry, sandy soil, to the extent that one does get the impression that it prefers to grow on rock. I think it is the sturdiness that lends beauty and charm to this little plant 4 to 5 inches across. |

Interesting flower, I like the lighting and the pink edges.
Very nice rose Per - looks like one we have in a cultivated version here in Denmark but I am not sure. Anyway it is a very nice picture and the light on the light on the upper right part is so perfect.
