Pontia daplidice (Linnaeus 1758)
Dimensioni: apertura alare 35-50 mm. Descrizione: specie migratrice dalle ali bianche leggermente screziate di grigio con macchie nere (generalmente più estese nelle femmine). Il rovescio dell’ala anteriore è bianco con apice verde e disegni neri che raggiungono il margine mentre il rovescio di quella posteriore presenta un’ampia screziatura verdastra. Può essere confusa con Pontia callidice e Euchloe ausonia. Il bruco vive sulle crocifere del genere Reseda e Arabis. Distribuzione e habitat: in tutta Italia e isole, in diversi ambienti fioriti, dal livello del mare fino a 1500 metri di quota.
Questo soggetto l'ho ripreso sulla spiaggia delle Baleari.
