An Absolute beauty! What a terrific macro shot here!
I'm a bit amazed that you managed to get so close to this butterfly, considerring that you used an 105mm focal length lens, but the outcome is really great!
The side POV shows the beautiful markings on its wings very well and the spot-on DOF keeps the entire butterfly in super sharp focus. The composition is lovely and the colors everywhere really boost it even higher.
Wonderful work in every aspect!

Waaaaw!!This is the most beatifull butterfly butterfly living in Europe but very very difficult to take because always in mouvement!!I saw that for 1st time this year and i dream one day to take a wonderfull pic like that,my best best compliments,you was lucky to found that and a great photographer to take so perfectly,thanks for share,Luciano

Hi Amadeo,

Your photo is realy great. You did a wonderfull image which is breathtaking as sharpness and as colors. The DOF is very good rendfering very well the texture and the pattern of tghe wings. In the mean time the body of the insect can also be clearly seen. Colors are wonderfull and the blurry background suits well.

Incredible clarity and sharpness! I love the natural colors. The orange and blue on the butterfly's wings add a nice complement to the light yellows and browns. Very nicely captured!
