25-30 mm. Es uno de los licénidos más frecuentes. La oruga se alimenta básicamente de alfalfa ( planta en la que está posada la mariposa de mi fotografía ) Ampliamente difundida. Las orugas invernan.

Hi Ignasi,

Your photo has a very interesting composition. The buterfly in the left and the flower in the right creates an interesting equilibrum of the image. Light was right managed so that colors look naturaly and fine details of wings pattern can be seen.

Hola Ignasi,
Fine macro of a female Polyommatus icarus, not bellargus.
Bellargus has definite black and white borders to the wings.
Nice POV, sharpness against an OOF natural BG and a good composition.
