Linaria is a genus of about 100 species of herbaceous annuals and perennials that was traditionally placed in the figwort family Scrophulariaceae. Due to new genetic research, it has now been placed in the vastly expanded family Plantaginaceae. The genus is native to temperate regions of Europe, northern Africa and Asia, with the highest species diversity in the Mediterranean region.
The members of this genus are known in English as toadflax, a name shared with several related genera. The scientific name means "resembling Linum" (flax), which the foliage of some species superficially resembles.
Closely related genera include the Nuttallanthus (American toadflaxes, recently split from Linaria), Antirrhinum (snapdragons) and Cymbalaria (Ivy-leaved toadflaxes).

Hola,
This is indeed an attractive flower - and I believe - in England called 'Neon Lights', apparently one finds the plant (in that horrible climate) in rockeries...

The flash enhances the blooms, making them so brilliant, even the hair on the stem are shiny!

A beautiful Linaria aeruginea, perfectly presented.
Have a nice week-end
Salutacions cordials,
Ingrid

Hi Ferran . This is a beautiful flower which you have taken with such fine detail and bright colours. Good use of the flash. Well taken TFS
Nick..

Bonjour Ferran,
Belle présentation pour cette linaire endémique, aux couleurs inhabituelles. Vaut le voyage ! (j'aime beaucoup les linaires).
Amicalement,
Hervé

Hi Ferran

An intereseting plant, I have not seen this one before. Well composed with good light and sharpness. The only nit I have is that the bottom right hand flower is not in focus, which is a little distracting:)

Chris

Bonjour Ferran,
