The dragonfly (Anisoptera, the Greek anise, "patchy" and ptero, "wings") are one of the classics of the order Odonata suborders. It concerns the common name for dragonflies, though this term is somewhat vague, often used also in a broader sense to designate all odonates.

Hello Carlos,
a good close up of this beautiful dragonfly.
It's well exposed with natural colours, good sharpness and fine DOF, the insect stand out well from the BG.
IMO I think you have placed the subject a bit too high in the frame.

Great macro capture of this pretty d-fly on the tip of a dried twig from latral POV with impeccable details, great DOF and fine composition.

A lovely macro capture of this beautiful dragonfly with superb details, especially its wings and eyes!

I like the great contrast between the colors of the dragonfly and the blurry green BG. The sharpness is great and the POV is superb.
