What a strange coincidence Felipe, the angle and perspective of this interesting shot, makes me turn my head to the right when I look at it.
Good details, colors, lighting and POV.
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Very nice textures that are shown in good detail. Unusual composition, I'm afraid the the main subject presented at two edges doesn't work for me. My eye is most drawn to the light spot of fungi at the very bottom. Still it is an interesting POV and the unusual composition and wonderful texture makes it stand out.

Hi Felipe!
I like POV on your photo, it is for somehow hypnotic ;-) Detailed, sharp and with Felipe's DOF [tm] ;-) Very nice colours, light, everything. Last weekend I took first photos of fungi this summer - not bad but nothing special also.
ps. did yoy received my email with mp3?

It is a very daring composition Felipe. I have to agree with Gabi on this one though. The main subject gets divided by the trunk in the middle leading the eye to the spot. It has lovely colors and a fantastic DOF. I do find myself tilting my head to the right when looking at the compo.

I come back form holidays in mountains. The season for mushroom starts here, you will see on TN soon...
What an interesting mushroom, I like the unusual composition. Colors and sharpness are very good ! Thanks for sharing Felipe.
Hi Felipe,
Why did you call it Daedaleopsis confragosa (Bolton 1792) Schröterer 1888? Like you named it before, its name is Daedaleopsis confragosa var. tricolor (Bulliard 1791) Bondartsev 1953 because it has gilled hymenium (I know this even if I don't see the hymenium) and concentrically brown-red zones.
According to these two important features it has been trasfered from variety to specie and now it must be called Daedaleopsis tricolor (Bulliard 1791) Bondartsev & Singer(1941).
