I visited Albufera national park in Mallorca (Spain.)
I saw lots of birds there and the little ringed plover was one of them. I shot this one from a hide.
This bird is a small plover with a black and white head pattern, similar to ringed plover. It has a black beak and pale not orange legs. Close views reveal a distinctive yellow eye-ring. In flight it shows a plain brown wing without the white wingbar that ringed plover has.

Nice capture of this plover, Zeno.
The details are sharp, the exposure is just right.
I really like that yellow ring around the eye. Very striking.
