I have no idea at all of what this fungi can be.

I had a good time when found this one. I came across very curious and interesting scenes in all the walks in the forest, but this was the only time I found this strange looking fungus, and in a such unusual place and composition.
It was located in a wall, I suppose the hole is the old burrow of some forest animal.
They seem to me like a father taking care of mum and the kids in their sweet home.

I bought my cam on June and has been a busy year, so I hope next year I will be able to take wonderful scenes I missed because my lack of experience, at least for the fungi lovers.

Greetings.

Ya no sabes donde meterte para encontrar un pobre honguito... que de sólo verte se asustan o temen terminar en tu estómago ;-)
Gran presentacion... sin dudas.

Interesting shot Felipe. I took one of some fungi hiding down a hole like this recently. I don't know what they are either.
Thanks for posting.

Nice clear shot Felipe. Do you think the fungi want the darkness of the hole or is it for protection from animals or something.
Would be nice to have had an ID.

Felipe, Interesting POV this one. Sounds like a great place this forest where you go. I can only imagine how cool. You're blessed!!

Salut Felipe!
Merci

This is more a documentary shot than the beautiful and artistic fungi you generally post, Felipe. They look like these little toys representing a family and that children know well, except it's all white. It's mysterious and the fact they are in this hole adds to the mystery. Obviously, there is an underdevelopped cap and a large stipe. Could it be fungi stopped in their growth due to their location in a dark place. This is going to bring me back in my mushroom book! Anyway, good eye and good discovery.

Excellent work Felipe! Remember 'Return of Jedi' ? This is jaws of desert monster where they wanted to throw Han Solo to :-) I like shapes of this fungi and way its grow.

I think it would have been better to get it close.
Well done.

Well presented Felipe. They look like chess pawns. Interesting new subject. I hope you get an ID on it though. Nice post.

Holes like these are difficult to shoot as someting is usually overexposed, but none here. I have been carrying a small flaslight which I try and use to see settings in the dark, but it is also handy to light up holes like these to increase the detail in the dark.

Very well done and thanks for posting
