[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is really amazing where you find Parakeets these days.
These asian birds are almost all over now,
not even in cologne and london,
this one i could capture in the Parc de la Ciutadella
in Barcelona, right next to the Zoo,
from which it or its parents maybe had escaped sometime.

It is a different one like i found here in cologne, so i have troubles
with the right ID.

I know the photo is not of the usual quality as
it was shot against the sun and i only had my 18-200mm
lens with me which was not enough for this bird....
but it´s a good chance to add spain to my map. *g*

i really like this portrait. It shows you have a good eye on nature.the photo is very natural. I like the shape of the nest and the natural greenish colors.

You have done well with this difficult shot.

Hi Thor,
It's a good shot under difficult circumstances. Nice detail and colour, exposure is good, only that little bit of OE on the leaf gives away that you were shooting into the sun. Well seen and captured! Interesting note too, it's amazing seeing how many of these birds are in the wild in Western Europe now.
