Platycnemis latipes - "Ivory" White-legged Damselfly

This damselfly is very pale, ivory white with just a tinge of blue (males) or brown (females). It is less strongly marked with black than P. pennipes. It is found near slow-flowing streams and rivers.

I found this info HERE and did not find further descriptive information available on this species, so short note this time.

Hope you like!

Great shot, like the frame. Seems to be smiling for the camera.

Hi Felipe and Cristina,
a beautiful damsel, I love to look in her wonderful eyes. Very sharp, very well done.
I would like the frame complete dark, but that's only my opinion. A phantastic shot, thanks

That is a very interesting and unusual presentation of this damselfly, Felipe. : )
I like the POV a lot, and the way you framed it with the two layers of the same photo.
The details are sharp and the colors in the two layers work very well together.

Hola Felipe,

Me encanta. Un saludo.
