En las montañas de este Parque Natural abundan los buitres leonados. En los grandes cortados rocosos, voladeros y tajos es donde estos grandes carroñeros se refugian, construyen sus nidos y se reproducen. Buitreras es como se les llama a estos sitios y son muchas las que hay a lo largo y ancho de estas sierras. En cualquier época del año y día es posible verlos surcando los cielos en busca de sus alimentos. En la imagen un buietre leonado saliendo y apareciendo por entre las nubes.

Interesting silhouette of this great bird..! As an ignorant when it comes to identifying birds I canno say what it is, but I'm sure someone reads this like an open book...
