La hiedra o yedra, es planta trepadora. Necesita de árboles, rocas o paredes para agarrarse y elevarse. Algunas especies de hiedras clavan sus raíces también en los troncos o ramas que le sirven de soporte y de aquí extraen alimento. Y lo hacen con tanta fuerza que, a veces, hasta llegan a dejar sin vida la misma planta que le está sirviendo de sostén.

Es el caso de este hiedra abrazando el tronco de un gran pino laricio. Quizá todavía durante un tiempo más o menos largo tendrán vida tanto la hiedra como el árbol, pero llegará un momento que el pino se secará. Es la lucha de la naturaleza por sobrevivir y adaptarse al medio.

En mi pais la hiedra mata los arboles muy frequentemente, me gusta lo que escribion en tu nota sobre la lucha para sobrevivir. El punto de vista es excelente en esta foto, y los colores son bellos.
