Fantástico POV amigo mío para mostrar en forma imponente esta flor.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, sharpness, focus, color, framing, background, lighting, notes.

I like it: DOF... si debo criticar algo, debería decir que la profundidad no alcanzó para focalizar el extremo de los estambres... pero sólo de protestón :-)

me gusta esta luz de intimidad Jose, me gusta menos el fondo de las ramitas. Creo que con otra F se podria conseguir el enfoque total asi que la casi desdaparicion del fondo, eso es dosificacion, Algo le pediria de mas. Textura y color de primera. Un saludo

Wonderful close-up of the autumn crocus which is now seen here in large clusters in flowerbeds. I wonder if they grow like that in the wild or if they are more individual. Brilliant sharp shot, beautiful lighting and colours against the dark background.

What a stunning photo. The contrast in the dark bg and flower are so intens and beautiful. You had some really beautiful light that moment, and you used it perfectly to bring out the colors and details of the crocus perfectly. A beautiful photo, with great clarity.

Hello José,
wonderful illumation on this fragile flower that is shining like a star out of the dark. Perfect details, and its colours with their subtle shades from deep purple to bright orange could not be shown better in such a powerful contrast to the deep and dark background of dry vegetation.
Excellent notes, giving a complete explanation of a flower that is uncommon for autumn in most parts of Europe, and might easily be mistaken for Colchicum. A feast for the eyes, celebrating the first day of rain after the summer draught.
This is a magnificent posting, José, and very well chosen for the joyful event of celebrating your 100th posting to TN. Congratulations, my friend. Your portfolio is outstanding in its beauty and its thoughtful considerations on the vulnerabilty of the paradise at our doorsteps, called nature.

A photo with a great message. Here in Spain the autum is a real spring after the torrid summer when most of life died or suffers.This little flower is the first I can see all the years after the autum rainfalls and, without considering it, is really nice. The shot shows its smooth petals and the colour contrast with the stamens.
