For this one, I chose another of my moody experiments with the river reflections.
As always, hope you like!

Daedaleopsis tricolor (Daedaleopsis confragosa var. tricolor)

Information from MushroomExpert.Com:
"Daedaleopsis confragosa is a variable species--or cluster of species, perhaps--recognized by its elongated, maze-like pores; its thin, whitish to brownish cap with zones of color; and the tendency of its pore surface to bruise reddish. However, each of these theoretically distinctive features is subject to variation. The pore surface can develop in odd ways, leading to confusion with round-pored species, or even with species of Lenzites, in which the pores almost look like gills. To make matters worse, the zones of color on the cap are not always clearly evident, and the pore surface does not always bruise red. Measuring spores can help in the identification process; the spores of Daedaleopsis confragosa are longer than the spores of its look-alikes. It is much too tough and woody to consider as an edible.
Description:
Habitat: Alone or gregariously on decaying hardwood logs and stumps, or from the wounds of living hardwoods; partial to birch, willow, and many other hardwoods, but only rarely on oak; occasionally on conifer wood; summer through winter; widely distributed. Cap: 5-15 cm; broadly convex to more or less flat; fan-shaped or nearly round in outline; dry; smooth or minutely hairy; pale grayish to brown or reddish brown; typically with zones of color.
Pore Surface: White, becoming dingy brownish in age; typically with elongated, maze-like pores and fairly thin walls between the pores, but sometimes with more or less round pores, or even with the pores elongated so much that they appear like gills; often bruising salmon pink to reddish when handled.
Stem: Absent.
Flesh: White, or pinkish to brownish; very tough.
Spore Print: White.
Microscopic Features: Spores: 7-11 x 2-3 µ; smooth; cylindrical to elliptical."

Critiques [Translate]

I like this experiment (and congrats on post no 100 ;-)). Great colours and nice and sharp capture. I think you should crop a little from the top to have only water on the right side (crop out the river bank on top).

I like these water shots of yours Felipe. The rusty colouring of this bracket fungus gives it a very rich tone,and the wavy edges also make it very attractive. A nice post.TFS. Steve.

Beautiful color and wonderful detail on the fungus...it looks like I couold touch my screen and feel that texture . I really this image, but I am not a fan of the frame. I feel it distracts me.

I like the point of view, you create with this view a very nice depth, the contrast is also good, even as the pof and the dof, Very good job you did, I like it very much

This is a beautiful composition and I love the color and sharpness.

Felipe, I am glad that you have reached this milestone. I don't think the site will be the same without your constant contributions. Glad to have you onboard. :)

This photo is excellent. The fungi placement gives an exceptional depth perspective and a nice lead towards the river. The roughness of the bark and smoothness of the river is a nice touch.

Once again congratulations. Keep 'em comming.

Congratulation with no. 100 Felipe - and a great one too. What I first noticed here was the arrangement of the fungi. Perfect diagonal. The colours look very natural and the sharpness/dof is very good keeping all fungi within the focus range. I like the reflections from the opposite river bank. Well done.

By the way I agree with Bente about the cropping - about 2-3 cm.

An excellent 100th image Felipe. The composition is very good, mixing fungi with reflection to better illustrate the environment. the note, as always, is very good.

I like this one particularly for the wealth of its colours, the neatness of the image and the beautiful perspective created by the reflection of trees on the surface of the water. No nits.

A worthy 100th Felipe a good combination of fungi and reflected water, would agree with cropping off the top but rest is spot on.
