Hi friends (en español en la carpeta de idem)

I’m uploading this picture taken yesterday during my labour leave. As you know, in most of the pictures we take there’s always some previous arrengement, usually avoiding improvisation. Improvising must be delayed till birds arrive, and the less, the better. Afterwards, the picture is uploaded to the web chosen and we await for it to be seen and valued.

Most of the times the picture is observed and someone makes us blush for this and that. But that’s good since it gives extra info to improve our next pictures. Some other times criticizing is just done without evaluating what’s behind the picture. Behind this one and others from a lot of colleagues thre’s a bunch of work. For this picture there is fieldwork to get the right spot, endless administrative tasks to get permissions, fodder shopping, moving the previous afternoon...

The photo session day comes and you have to get up at five o'clock or even before, because you must enter in the hide before dawning. The time depends on the date to go and the place where we are going to take the pictures. You hope a cloudless day to get a good session and look forward to vultures come in. Sometimes you stand all the day inside the hide with taking no photos because many times they don't appear.

If they come, you will get a reward. This ocassion we were waitting them seven hours and finally they came to rest but only during seven minutes, from the first shot until they soared up. We didn't know the cause why they left us, maybe a little movement of our zoom lens....who knows?... At the end of these seven minutes, we got 78 images that must be potprocessed at home.... And happy, very happy with the results... Thinking of me, of course these effords are valid and not only for these images, also for anothers !!!!!... if I would not had to work I would be everyday taking pictures.

Veo que has sacado la tarta para tu imagen número 100. Felicidades. A veces en conversación con quién tú sabes nos chivamos de las imágenes, los autores, las que nos gustan, las que no, etc., y para mí y no es porque tenga este bellezón de foto delante, tus fotos son siempre admirables.
Sinceramente me considero un niño con un Cetme, porque este mundo es fascinante y le dispararía (fotográficamente hablando) a todo: flores,aves, paisajes...
Muchas gracias por estos madrugones y por compartir tu modo de ver la naturaleza.

Mucha cháchara.... mucha cháchara, pero como dicen por aquí... al quiere celeste... que le cueste.
Bromas aparte creo que tu nota vale más que 100 imágenes... personalmente desconocía todo el proceso que es necesario para llegar a tener esos 7 minutos de chance y captar lo mejor que se pueda una escena como esta.
No haré juicios ni críticas técnica, sólo felicitarte por tus primeras 100 entregas y por la pasión que le pones a todo esto.

Después de lo que dijo JL, que digo yo... jugaba con un poco de ventaja, pero es admirable esta foto. tu comentario fotográfico, es todo un manifiesto, para no juzgar alegremente y denostar, yo no me considero quién para hacer de menos ningún trabajo. Por muchos años que lleve en esto, además todos empezamos desde un nivel básico...gracias amigo por esos madrugones, y por todo lo que ha significado conocerte y los conocimientos que me has aportado, enhorabuena por tus primeras 100 fotos... y a la chica que se que es el 50% del tamdem, felicidades a ambos "los dos."

Buenas descastado, nosotros buscando gatos y tu inflándote de buitres. Pobre cerdito. Lo de los madrugones, si fueran para madrugar me daría pena, pero para fotos, sé que no te cuesta levantarte. Mucha espera, pero ahí están los resultados. Se os ha echado de menos, de hecho, a Roberto, el amigo de Jesús, no he parado de llamarle Jorge. Enhorabuena por esta foto y por tu anniversario (100 fotos) en TN. Nos vemnos dentro de dos semanas, aunque creo que soloo me voy a poder escapar el sábado. Ya hablamos. Un abrazo.
