Butterfly - Small Tortoiseshell
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A warm autumn afternoon made this butterfly, Small Tortoiseshell (Nymphalidae), Aglais urticae, to do some of it's last flights in year 2005.
Actually it was very difficult to get a picture of this butterfly! When I got closer it did fly away 3-4 times so I had to run after it! :-) Some butterflies seems very sensitive! |

So naturally beautiful, human eye perspective and splendid colors. Very chic, good depth of field and chromatics, sharpness is exceptional as well.
It's a beautiful butterfly Henrik.
We have had a bad year with butterflies up here, maybe it was better in the south. Some have shown up in the autumn;-)
Nice colours and good detials.
Well done.
