Hello Ozcan,
Wonderful in flight capture.POV,vivid colors, sharpness,BG,framing and visual impact are excellent.Very well done mf!
TFS..:-)

Hi Ozcan,
Great capture - I am sure it was not an easy one to take.
I wonder about the crop you selected, I think the fly is too much in the corner - maybe a tighter crop would be better.

Hola Ozcan,
Impresonante foto! Los detales en la mosquita son espectaculares. Me gusta el desenfocado de la flor, su colorido y contrastes.
Bien hecho!

Hi Ozcan, splendid photo with great sharpness, lovely details, wonderful colours, excellent composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Ozcan,

exellent shot of Episyrphus balteatus
Superb sharpness, details and colours
Nice POV and great DOF

Is it a bee or a fly, Osse? Your captions sometimes send me on a guessing game :-)!
Anyway, very effective in-flight shot of this "winged insect"(I will call it that for convenience). Your positioning of it in one corner of the frame suggests your preference to show the larger landing area, that is the flower as blurred BG. Not bad.
TFS and bye.

Hej Osse,
Really superb in-flight shot of this little beautiful hoverfly. I'm amazed to see that you used such a low shutter speed for this! The sharpness is very impressive and I love the stamens and the petals in the background.
Many thanks, Ulla

Hello Ozcan,

What a great picture, not easy to take and just in focus of this fly of the Syrphidae family... The only think is that the left wing is too near the frame. But maybe that picture is full framed? The blurred flower add dynamism to the photo! Great picture and TFS,

Michel

Very nice in flight picture Ozcan! Very good framing, sharpness and very nice colours. Very nice composition here. Thank you.

Hello Ozcan,
stunning sharpness of this hoverfly in flight just before landing. Species identification:
- Episyrphus balteatus
- family: Syrphidae.
Appropriate background to present the hoverfly clearly. The position of the fly on the picture is not optimal but selection has to be done quickly and so you have noc chance.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Ozcan,
goergous shot with beautiful colors/ Excellent DOF and wonderful placement of your main subject, looks like it just flew into the frame.
POV, sharpness and details are excellent.
Sky

Hi Osse, this is a very nice macro capture of the hover fly. You have excellent compostion and colour. The wing came very close to the corner of the frame. Was this intentional or did you capture it this way? What was the lens you used for this shot? I have included a site I found useful for information on the hover fly. http://www.gardensafari.net/english/hoverflies.htm

Thanks, John

Hello Ozcan,
I really like this hoverfly caught in action. The sharpness is amazing. Crisp clear picture with beautiful background. Impressive picture.

Cheers!

If the insect is not so fastened the edge of the framing, it would be a perfect presentation... the beauty of the point of view captured with so much sharpness and focus, in spite of the slow speed is really wonderful.
A great post my friend... nearby to the perfection.
Cheers!
