[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a very rare bird in Sweden and this is another photo of the Little auk (Alle alle/Alkekung) that we saw in the small fishing harbor Galtabäck south of Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. Here it was so close that I had to remove the 1,4 extender.

But heavy streams and quite high waves made it go up and down all the time so I had a hard time getting sharp images, despite the close distance.

I had to take this photo against the sun and that made the bird a bit "dark in the face".

Hej Bengt,
This is a bird I have been wanting to photograph for some time. Amazing that you were so close that you had to take off the teleconverter.
The sharpness and lighting are very good , showing the drops of water on the well-preened plumage.
Well done!
Hälsningar,
Ivan

An excellent image of this illusive little bird, Bengt!
