for Pete's sake...it looks as though it is lying and drying off as a canine would do...what an unusual angle...you REALLY are close to nature Ulla. One gets the notion from your images that no creature fears you..

I just love this young Hooded Crow and hope you have lots more shots of him to share. How lucky you are to have this family in your garden! The details of his face and plummage are superb - his feathers looks so soft. Beautiful colors. He looks so good sitting on the edge of the bird bath. The workshop is marvelus too. I told my son about Ivan making one for you but ........... I must find one!

Hello Ulla, one of the delights of this time of year is to see the nestlings begin their journeys towards independence! This must have been so interesting to watch!

You have captured very sharp details of the bird's fluffy, young featherrs and its disproportionate beak. The eye colour has a strong resemblence to the jackdaw.
Very good pov, dof and composition.
