I still yet to post my coriander...I noticed here that the flora is almost the focal point:-) Perhaps it is the red which saves the insects personality! Or is that orange..My eyes...Two cataract surgeries and almost 20/20 and I still cannot make up my mind!

Cerambycids very beautiful beetles. I like also them very much. In last week, I met one of larger ones which lacking any abdomen parts. But it was in alive still.
You capture such a beautiful longhorn in brownish color among white flowers. Nicely composed and focused. POV and colors also very nice. Thanks for sharing. best wishes

Hi Ulla. Your Coriander has had many insects on it, a good plant to have in the garden. I like the over head view of this longhorning showing its markings so well. You have captured good detail and colours. well done TFS.

I think the DOF is a bit shallow but you've got the focus on the head which is great and the BG is nicely blurred.

Your pictures are always carefully composed yet very natural. Great colours Ulla, and hte light is specially nice on the white flowers who could have been overexposed. The longhorning is beautiful and seems like a bigt insect even though it's only 6-10 mm long! Superb macro shot, thank you very much Ulla,

At shutter speed 1/1600, the details on the Longhorn and Coriander flowers are perfect, Ulla.
Both stand out well against the blurred green BG.
I like the diagonal orientation of the subject, making the frame a lovely composition.

Your coriander was worth planting, considering the amount of bugs you must find on it.
Very clearly seen Ulla, and the colours show up well, I even see slight iridescent tones on his back.
