Congrats on ID'ing Jose's insect! I agree with you about the approach of winter...it is not for the lack of pictures for me..it is because of the toll which cold hard winters take on my body. So into your archives and may they all be deep and full as this, of spring which we can appreciate through your eyes..

c'est une jolie espece,l'exposition est bien maitrisée mais je me demade s'il n'aurait pas mieux fallut augmenter la DOF et diminuer le vitesse car l'oiseau du second plan me semble un peu hors champ.

Hi Ivan. And a good one from your Archives it is. What a beautiful looking pair of shelducks. I wonder why nature gives them the brown feathers.as you say you can pick out the male so well. i like the wild flowers in the forground. your good use of the light has given good natural colours. well done TFS.
