Hi Ivan,

I have always loved the looks of the Starlings and this is a beautiful dad. The pose is wonderful as he guards the tree. You captured his irridescent plummage very well. A beautiful face with a lovely eye. Nice composition as he stands at the angle of the branches.

pas de probleme,c'est encore une reussite sur tous les plans et j'adore le details dans le plumage ainsi que les reflets metalliques.
le POV est bien aussi.
j'ai des etourneaux qui viennent au jardin mais ils restent au sol.

Hi Ivan,
I can imagine the feeling of being there looking at the bird boxes and then the joy of finding a pair to capture.They have to be so watchful isnt it? I have had a hard time helping the sparrow family who has nest near my home and to keep the very belligerent mynah's from coming and attacking the sparow nests. The male sparrow is constantly on a loud call the moment mynahs come down that corner.

This is superb, with lovely gloss on its plumage created by the sunshine and hey i can see that watchful eye and that attentively cocked head.

Thanks for sharing this "watchful daddy -to-be".
