I have some minutes to visit TN and just in the right moment to detect your perfect picture of the depressa male. It's so sunny and clear that it acts anti-depressive.
Furthermore, this is your 300th post - well selected. But, you have not to convince us of your skills.
Great depth of field, exact focus and excellent sharpness are characteristics of this picture besides all the other qualities (as usual).

Hello Ivan, this is a very appropriate title for the shot and for your future here at TN. Congratulations on #300.

This is a very sharp, well focused shot, with excellent light and colour. The definition pulled out in this one is very good, with great use of your depth of field to catch those veins in the wings even, in clear definition from front to back.

I'm looking forward to more of these, and perhaps some new species too, along with the plants, fungi and landscapes in the next 300.

This is such an extraordinary shot to celebrate the occasion. Immaculate sharpness and lovely colours and you have captured a fabulous pose, the best for any dragonfly shot. The blurred green BG works wonders here in highlighting the subjects by providing a neutral base. Superb lighting and DOF. Excellent POV and composition too. Kudos.

As for this picture, it is a beautiful picture of the Broad chaser captured with very good sharpness and details for a hand held shot.Nice blurred background and it provides a good contrast to the dragonfly.

Sorry i've missed so many of your lasts postings here; it's just been a very busy week for me (full of projects) and it looks like it's going to be the same the next one, too, so please accept my apologies for the future as well. :(
Big congratulations on reaching such an amazing number of photos posted here. Also, an even bigger congratulation for your impressive variety of subjects - only when i saw those statistics i realized how impressive your portfolio is and how much work, time and kilometers it took to be able to shoot so many different animals and plants. Good luck in your quest to expand that list :)
This is a splendid dragonfly shot of maybe one of the most beautiful species in Europe.
Even if it's a rather common subject here on TN, i know from personal experience that is quite difficult to get very close to it and also hard to expose it properly, due to that bright blue abdomen. You did a terrific job on both cases here!
I really like the sharpness of all the details, too, as well as the impeccable DOF. The clarity is even more remarkable since you took this handheld at 1/200sec. and at a focal length of 420mm.
What more to say? Nothing...just a very big BRAVO for everything and thank you for sharing every single one of your outstanding images.
