Hi Ivan,

A great capture with good exposure,colors and details,I see them as well quite often ,but never managed to get a descent shot,anyway have a nice holiday in Cypres,at the moment we are in Augusta (sicily) and have nice sunny weather,we will sail tomorrow morning to Algiers (Algeria).

1.your first mammal photo on TN (I belive you should add it to the theme "Mammals of Europe" :>)
2.Great timing (in a few days Easter will be!) - and there is no religion context :>
3. or maybe 1 as you wish, this is really nice picture (and a little funny for me - mailny because this species makes me laught :>).

Nice picture of this cute little thing, Ivan.
Reminds me of story of The Hare and the Tortoise I used to hear in my childhood and wonder why a slogger is a winner in this fable :-)!
You have captured the subject just at the moment when its steps seem to have been arrested momentarily by a sense of sudden fear. It is visible in the eye.

An excellent capture on this Brown Hare. The light quality was really nice here. The exposure looks spot on. Nice colors and very sharp detail. I really like the isolation with the shallow DOF. All the attention stays on the Hare. Nice shot!

Nice job capturing this one. They are difficult to photograph. Great details, colors and depth of field. The eye is outstanding! (much better than the rabbit I just posted)

Nicely captured and very seasonally appropriate post.The bunny is at high alert.Very good details and colours,wonderful eye detail.Don't worry the rabbit was a pagan symbol and represents birth as part of the rites of Spring.The pagans were nature lovers,so very TN politically correct ;)TFS

a monumental hare in all its wildness and alertness - a perfect presentation for the time of the year on a site dealing with wildlife! While most of us are just seeing rabbits, and most of them are even made of chocolate these days. I somehow missed this one when it was originally posted and i'm sorry! It's a splendid shot and so very fitting for Easter :)
The pose of this charming hare is excellent and the composition you managed here is outstanding!
The lighting and details are also superb and i love to see that big eye so clearly.
The low POV is also great and the shallow DOF does well to focus all the attention on it and to blurr the BG so nicely.
