Hi Ulla. This is such a fine close up of the Musk beetle .Your POV shows the Green shell which has such a shine. Taken with fine detail and sharp focusing. A nice pose on the tree with the lichen. All with interesting notes. well done TFS.

Hello Ulla,
It's always impressive to see this Musk beetle..I usually find it once or twice a year on my window sill (we have Salix close to the river, next to which we live). I know it is not easy to make good pictures of them. You had a good background to show it with some contrast and also light for the metallic reflections. I also like your vertical framing.

the Musk longhorn beetle in all its spectacular beauty, very precisely captured! Grey lichens offer a perfect contrast to make the shiningy iridescent green and blue colours visble in the best way. Very attractive presentaton. Thank you!
