That bright eye really stands out magnificently thanks toyour excellent exposure and the impeccable side POV.
The colors are also wonderful, the details and textures of the plumage are crsipy-clear and the compositions is great -with enough space in front of the duck.

seems happy indeed! The tuft is well shown. I always thought tufted ducks had this dark blueish glow. But the other day I saw on a picture it is green indeed. Also on your picture it's dark green. regards, Jacob

Beautiful duck! The black and white with that magnificent yellow eye show up so well against the water. Details are wonderful. I love the droplets near the tail and his hair-do.

Cute tufted Drake, Ivan.
Sometimes there is truly something in the posture of a bird that strongly conveys the impression of its state of happiness. That expression is tangible in the picture of this "happy" bird.
The water drops tossed around its tail are well captured at 1/640.

Hi Ivan, I have only just notice this! It's a great shot with the water splashing behind, the Duck does look happy. Mine always look mean! You have good texture and light on the feathers and the colours are wonderul. His Tufty hair do is perfect.
