I have been away from internet and TN after Friday. I didnt visit last shots.
This is perfect capture for very beautiful Chaffinch. Excellent sharp details, POV and eyes contact. I like lighting and fantastic coloration either on finch and BG. Excellent work with good information.

This Chaffinch looks so wonderful on the nice green grass - something I only see on golf courses. Beautiful colors and good details of the face wings and plummage. It's too bad they don't stay with you longer.

A very nice picture Indeed of the Male Chaffinch..One of the hardest birds to photograph I think due to their colourings.
Your pov here is superbly low giving a birds eye view..The sharp details are superbly captured as are the glorious colours..The fg and bg are very well thought out and compliment the subject perfectly...Maybe its time to run a mower over the lawn though!!(Joking)

A fine and wise looking Chaffinch from a loow ants-eye view Ivan, you must be on your belly while taking this perfect tele-macro shot of a beautiful specimen in good focal and colouration details. The almost wide open aperture limited the DOF right to the plane of the bird, rendering the BG and the FG nicely OOF. Thanks for sharing the result of your expertise with us, my friend.

That is some pretty good use of your depth of field Ivan. Having seen much of your work, I am apt to believe that you always make sure you have the camera set on just what you want..and then say a small prayer:-) Looks to me like it works!
