I know how exciting it is to see a "new" bird or a variation of one. I'm not sure I have seen a Brambling before. It's a pretty bird with lovely colors. Nice pose and good details. I hope we both see something else exciting soon!

Like us here you see the return of migrating birds to nest up in your country, isn't it fantastic? I notice you've been posting many pictures of birds in your garden and the sight of the budding lilac feels so good! This bird is so beautiful, you have many unknown species to me and it is such a pleasure to look at them. I too have had these as visitors as well... in a flock of chaffinches as well..

Great capture - better than I managed. they seem rather shy which made the one I had quite difficult.

You were lucky with branches as well.

Once more very cute bird picture. I am impressed with your wonderful series. In this shot I like great DOF and level of sharpness of the nice set of twigs. Charming bird is looked among them perfectly. Smooth BG supplements the main subject very well. Its blurriness and colorfulness are so pleasant too. My compliments. Well done.
