[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the wintertime the Black-headed Gull loses the brownish colour of the head and left is just the small dot close to the ear.

Yesterday I went to the hospital in the small coastal town of Västervik to receive the infusion of antiinflammatory medicine that I get ever six weeks to keep me on my feet and still enjoying life.

After that I went to the harbor to try to get some photos of the Goldeneyes that are performing their beautiful act right now. Then I saw this common bird and could not resist its beauty so I decided to try to take his portrait despite the grey weather...

I will post photos of the Goldeeyes wedding in a couple of days.

Hej Bengt,
Wow, I love this very beautiful and artistic capture of the Black-headed Gull. Very sharp details and lovely white colour almost disappearing in the snowy background. If possible I would have left a bit more space to the right and let the beak point to the corner.
Really great!
TFS and regards, Ulla
