I saw some shots of Celastrina argiolus by the time, but this may be first, I see from its dorsal side. Your macro also great with focus and colors, blue and greem very nice color pair. Thanks for sharing this beauty. have a nice weekend.

This is a bright and eye-catching photo with lots of colour and detail to appreciate. The focus is sharp and the detail of the butterfly is marvellous. I like the fluffy appearance and the different shades of blue on the wings. The patterns and wings are well displayed and the clarity is great. A real neat shot and well presented. Worth a big smiley. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent capture of this beautiful butterfly with its wings fully open, Ulla.
With only a meter between you two, you have done full justice to the capture. Very sharp focus and fantastic details and shadesof blue on the open wings.
The Bilberry plants make this image a double treat.

I must have missed this... I don't know how though! This is a gem, Ulla!!
The little Holly Blue is so beautiful!
Excellent sharpness and detail.
The two best things about this shot are the superb DOF that has kept the whole insect sharp from the wing-tips to the antenna and the fact that you've captured it with the wings open... extremely hard seeing as they always rest with their wings closed! :-)

What a beautiful little butterfly. Great color and wonderful detail. I love the fringes along the wing's edge. You can even see the powdery texture of the wings. Wonderful!

I have been enjoying your butterfly captures especially with the open wings .
This is another of them and with such lovely blue sheen on the wings with superb details.Best use of light and good sharpness and clarity. I like the environmnet whci is presented in slightly muted manner with the focus falling completely on the butterfly alone.
