Hi Ivan,not easy to take so perfectly these insects.They have terrible reflection and you manage very well the light for the best result as possible.Certainly the POV isn't the best to show the mating moment,but is very interesting,rare and unusual.Thanks for share,have a nice weekend,LUCIANO

Hi Ivan. This is a new Burnet moth i have not seen before so thanks for posting this fine picture. Good use on the light on the wings which has given them a shine. With bright colours. Sharp focusing against the OOF BG. well done TFS.

This mating moment is well captured in such a spledid capture. the colours are very intense and rich. The details is superbly rendered.

I have seen many zygaenid species, but this is new for me. it is also very beautiful as like other members of the family.

hello Ivan

on the thumnail i saw one butterfly, then i read the title,
when i opened the photo i was searching the other butterfly,
then i found it is a little bit off-focus, the focus beeing done
on the first one, i have never done macro photos Ivan,
i have never shot with a DSLR but i think if you had shot
this photo with a compact instead of DSLR maybe
you should also have in focus the other butterfly,
or maybe i am wrong Ivan, TFS
