Urban, a very nice shot. Vivid colors and great composition.
I often see mallards here on TrekNature; I guess we don't have them here in Brazil and, to me, they are very beautiful.

Très belle éclairage avec une bonne exposition. Les couleurs sont superbes et vrais.
Merci pour l'envoi et bonne journée.

Very beautiful colors you've captured with this duck. I like the way you've got his whole shadow in the photo. After getting used to people feeding them they would probably have a hard time finding food on their own now. I'm glad you've captured his photo for us to see.

Poor thing. It is very sad. When we arrived at one of our local ponds the other day a handful of boys were enjoying themselves throwing stones at the geese (the ducks kept out of their way). I 'politely' told them to 'go away' ... A lovely shot, perfect composition and detail. Even though he's injured he's still stunning!
Thanks for sharing.

Drakes are beautiful, especially their green colored heads and the purple in their wings make a great picture. Your pictures is perfectly composed and the lightening on the drake is fantastic. I really feel for the drake and I hope he makes it. TFS! Have fun in Egypt and treat us with some nice pictures. Don't you just love the 350D? :)))

Poor lame duck Urban. He does look very sad. Excellent colours and sharpness of it though. I love his curly tail feathers. Well done.
And enjoy yourself in Egypt. There is a lot to see there, and maybe some unusual TN shots too. Bon voyage!
