Forgotten in front of the window...


Lost to the unknown, I tried my best to survive.
I searched for nectar everywhere,
only finding a tightening grip of despair.
The freedom is there, I saw it, on that I swear.
Though, some invisible sphere held me back from the open air.
What was that force of invisibility that blocked my path?

Broken down by fatigue and distress,
I laid down for my inevitable rest.
Will they miss me I wondered, as the relentless sleep devours?

No points? Most of TN members don't like to see dead animals I guess. Nevertheless death is full part of nature.
Excellent title.
Technically perfect. The desolated tones are a plus with fits so well with the subject.
Perfect DOF, POV and light.
Cropping slightly too tigh on the left.
