They really are a pretty pair and they looks so happy and peaceful together. The eyes of both are wonderful. Beautiful colors and sharp details of both the male and female and I love seeing them together. Nice gentle ripples in the water.

The colour of the eyes of these Pochards is different, Ivan. Shall I assume that the more colourful one with the red eye is a male?

this is sure a handsome couple of ducks and the male has a great looking red eye.I rather like red eyed birds and this one is going into to my theme of the same.The photo has very good detail and colour and your point of view works well for this presentation.These ducks look somewhat like the Redheads found here where I live,except for the red eye of the male that is.Thanks,Ivan for sharing these two with us.
